Listrak Publishes 50 Tips, Tricks, and Hidden Features Blog
We have kicked off the new year on “The Creative Side” blog with a post featuring a list of 50 Listrak tips, tricks, and hidden features. It is a great way to brush up on our features that you are using, as well as learn about new, useful ones that you might not be using yet – including Google Analytics, dynamic content, domain alias, personalization, customized pass-along links, internationalization, RSS, profiling, suppression lists, A/B split testing, new billing updates, list hygiene, visual overlay, detailed reporting, and many, many other highlights of our system that you don’t want to miss.
Listrak Adds Ability to Lock Templates
Listrak has added the ability for system administrators to lock sections of each template so other users may only edit areas defined by the administrators. This feature allows administrators to ensure that emails sent out by other members of their marketing teams have a consistent look and feel, while making it quicker and easier for users to enter the appropriate content and send out the message to the members of their lists. This feature is especially useful for marketing agencies that are creating templates for their clients as it protects the integrity of the email template, but it is also helpful for any company as it greatly reduces the amount of time needed to train new employees who are not familiar with HTML.
To learn more, log in, and view the Template Library section in the Help Manual.
Listrak Adds Corporate Review Group
The Notification Settings section allows you to enter the email addresses of supervisors, administrators, and anyone else that will need copies of every email being sent out by any user in the account. Unlike the List Review Group on the List Settings page, the users in the Corporate Review Group will not receive a copy of the test email – they will simply receive a copy of the actual email that is sent out to the list. This is an important feature for agencies and large corporations with multiple users as it provides a way for administrators and supervisors to track the content of emails being sent to subscribers without having to receive several test copies of emails during the creative phase. Also, to ensure that the reports are as accurate as possible, the messages sent to the Corporate Review Group are not tracked through Listrak’s reporting so as not to skew the numbers when messages are opened, read, and clicked on by members of this group. Log in and view Manage > Account > Account Settings for more information.
Listrak Enhances Profiling Features
Listrak has made it even easier to create and manage profiling headers. Administrators may now enter profiling headers and then save that information as a template to reuse as necessary. Users may also drag and drop the profiling headers into the correct order instead of renumbering each item. Log in and view Contacts > Profiling > Create New Header for more information.
