Single Contact Subscribe / Unsubscribe
Listrak makes it easy to subscribe or unsubscribe single contacts from your lists. Capturing new subscribers for your email newsletters is an ongoing process that should occur at every customer touch point – not just on your website. Because of this, there will be times that you will need to enter a single subscriber manually onto a pre-existing list.
Also, as you closely monitor your subscribers open and click histories, you will find inactive accounts that you will need to remove from your lists manually. ISPs will turn inactive email accounts into spam traps or honeypots, and continuing to send emails to these addresses is a clear indication to the ISPs that you are not carefully monitoring and managing your lists. If your re-engagement campaign fails, it is important to remove the inactive contacts from your lists immediately.
To add or remove a single contact, simply enter the email address on the Subscribe/Unsubscribe Contacts screen and choose “Subscribe” or “Unsubscribe”. If you choose to unsubscribe the contact, the contact will be removed from the current list and all other lists tied to the same suppression list. That way, you are sure to remain CAN-SPAM compliant.
