How to Sell it to your Customers

It is common for many agencies to implement a privately labeled email marketing solution to satisfy the needs of one large customer.  After that, they are left wondering how to roll it out to their other customers.  If you didn’t survey your customers as part of the due diligence process, it should be done as a part of the sales process.  Find out what your customers’ specific needs and goals are, and show them first hand how your email marketing solution can help them succeed.  Do this by using your email solution to send out email surveys and track results.

Remember, email marketing is something that fits into any size organization in any industry.  Every company needs this service.  However, you cannot sell the service to your customers until they are educated on the benefits, are comfortable with the process, know how to communicate effectively through broadcast email campaigns, have a list of subscribers that have opted-in to receive emails from them, and have set specific goals for their email campaigns.  When your customers are ready, they will turn to you for service and support.
