Customizable Goodbye Message
Listrak offers you the ability to send automated goodbye messages to contacts that unsubscribe from your lists. You may customize the message based on what you want to accomplish with the message. For example, you may simply want to send a confirmation that the contact has been removed and will no longer receive emails from your company, or you might want to send a link to your preference center so your contacts can opt-out of other lists as well. Doing so will help your contacts unsubscribe the right way without reporting your messages as spam, which greatly damages your reputations with ISPs.
Some email marketers even use the goodbye message as a re-engagement campaign. Although risky, if the offer and call to action are compelling enough, these messages can have high success rates. However, there is also a high chance of the contacts reporting these messages as spam so you must carefully monitor these campaign metrics to measure the effectiveness.
